Stephanie is a registered osteopath who qualified from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Kent, a university well known all across the osteopathic world for its variety of taught techniques and special focus on maternity and childcare with cranial osteopathy. This is exactly what made her leave her beloved Italian Alps and study in England. Stephanie is fluent in English, Italian and German.

Stephanie works in Wilton on Tuesdays, Tisbury on Thursdays, and in Salisbury on Fridays and Saturdays.

Stephanie was always interested in medicine and particularly physiotherapy, spending a lot of her childhood following her father treating football players, mountain bikers and skiers. But she realised that when her father used osteopathic techniques too, his patients seemed far more comfortable and responded more quickly. She found herself after years of suffering from recurring sinusitis osteopathy eased the problem. She was fascinated by the widespread holistic approach of the practitioner and it was clear that this was what she wanted to do.

Stephanie really enjoys treating pregnant ladies in preparation for birth, and accompanying babies and children through different developmental stages and difficulties. Children show discomfort differently from adults, and may often be more irritable, bloated or have digestive problems. Other children might have concentration or behavioural issues. Both maternity and paediatric patients have an incredible drive towards health and Stephanie finds it extremely rewarding to help them with cranial osteopathy and gentle non-invasive manipulations.

Stephanie is currently doing a postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) in London. This involves in depth training in treating babies, children and mums-to-be once a week for two years under the supervision of paediatric osteopaths. She will also spend time treating premature babies in a neonatal intensive care unit in London.

Totally fascinated by the incredible healing capacity of the human body, Stephanie loves to apply the holistic principles of osteopathy to the body, treating all kind of problems. She adapts herself to the needs of the patient, and treats them accordingly with a combination of functional and structural techniques. This might involve articulations and soft tissue massage as well as gentle balancing techniques, visceral and cranial osteopathy. If you are looking for a more gentle approach to osteopathy then Stephanie will be suited to you.

If you have any queries Stephanie will be more than happy to answer your questions.
